GIRLS NETBALL
Last week our netball team played Lake Munmorah in the NSW PSSA Knockout Competition. It was a challenging game and our girls did extremely well against a very confident, experienced team and poor weather conditions. Sadly we lost 22-18, but we walked away with our heads held high. Congratulations, girls! We are all very proud of your efforts!

Girls' Netball, Round 2
The Brisbania P.S Girls' netball team hosted Kincumber in a tough second round match. The girls played fantastic netball in front of an excited stage 3 crowd. Ari and Josie took turns in shooting some excellent goals, while Madison and Olivia combined well to send the ball frequently down to the shooter's end. In defence, our girls were also great, with Darcie and Claire stopping numerous goal attempts from the Kincumber attack. All girls demonstrated great team work and should be very proud of their efforts. Congratulations girls and good luck in round three!

Girls Netball
Our girls played their first netball match against Niagra Park near Lisarow today, in the girls knockout competition. After weeks of vigorous training with Mrs Duruz, the team was ready for their first challenge. After breaking away to an early lead in the first half, the girls led by 8 goals. A spirited comeback from Niagra Park however, saw the home team claw their way back to within one goal. Our girls remained composed however, and were able to seal the victory with a few late goals. Congratulations girls and good luck in the second round! Thank you also to the parents and our stand in coach for the day, Mrs Whelan.
